Hi Arnie, A few years ago I dug hole, about a foot deep, in my garden in the fall. I unearthed an giant toad and covered it up right away. Good soft earth, a great place to dig down to hibernate. Chris
Yes, I think I disturbed this one while I was taking out our squash vines and preparing the soil for a late planting of greens.
