The first General Assembly of the Occupy New Hampshire movement met at Arms Park in Manchester for 2 1/2 hours on Thursday, October 6. With little in the way of relationships among participants, most of the time was spent in a friendly process of figuring out how to make decisions, making a recommendation about where and when the group should establish an occupation, and creating a set of committees. The consensus last night was that the occupation should begin in Manchester, October 15. But another General Assembly, at White Park in Concord, taking place Sunday at 2 PM, could make a different recommendation.
Conversations are also going on over Facebook and perhaps elsewhere in cyberspace.
